Today we will be releasing a new login screen for MacBooks running Mojave. Anyone that has Mojave will see the login screen shown above at the next login to the computer. MacBooks that have FileVault enabled will not see the new login screen and will continue to use the secure login screen that is included with FileVault.
Why the new login screen?
The new login screen is created by the same developers of NoMAD which currently keeps your password in sync across Keychain, FileVault, and now the local system.
Please be sure to keep NoMAD logged-in at all times. You will be prompted to login to NoMAD anytime your password changes. Be sure to watch the 70 second demo below on how you should be changing your password using NoMAD.
